On receipt of goods
Dear Customer,
Before every shipment, all goods are checked meticulously so that you receive your orders in perfect condition. However, incidents can occur while packages are handled, transported or unloaded. Whenever you receive a delivery, please note the following:
- Before signing the delivery note, check that the number of packages matches the delivery note and that the packaging shows no visible damage.
- If you detect any anomaly (damaged packaging, missing packages, etc.), note it immediately on the carrier's delivery note, describing it. Take photos of the damage and report it immediately to [email protected] using our form.
- Report the damage within 5 working days so that the transport insurance can be activated.
Without the anomalies being noted on the carrier's delivery note, it is not possible to activate the transport insurance or file a claim with the carrier.
Transport insurance and acceptance
All shipments include transport insurance, which expires when the goods are received and confirmed by signing the carrier's delivery note. It is therefore essential to inspect all goods before accepting them.
Carriers do not accept a "pending verification" remark on the delivery note.
By accepting the goods, you declare that you agree with their condition and waive any claims if damage is not properly noted on the carrier's delivery note. PV Partner is not responsible for damage caused during transport, as the transport insurance does not cover damage after the goods have been accepted.
Accepted products that arrived damaged or defective cannot be returned unless such defects are clearly noted on the delivery note.
If the goods are received by one of your customers, please pass on these instructions for receiving orders.
